US trade mission to visit India next month

The India -US World Affairs Institute will lead an avowed trade mission to India in collaboration with the US Department of Commerce later this season.

The trade mission will visit Hyderabad, Mumbai and Brand new Delhi between November 26 and December 3, a press release announced.

It will offer US companies in several high technology sectors the chance to experience the substantial opportunities that exist in Indian first-hand.

The mission will focus on sectors such because aerospace, defence and homeland security, civil aviation, energy, advanced schooling, information and communications technologies and life sciences and meals technology, among others.

The institute has also been selected through the State of Maryland as their official partner for the actual first-ever gubernatorial trade delegation to India, to be brought by Governor Martin O'Malley in late November.

"America's and India's fortunes in the 21st century seem irrevocably tied together which is in the interests of both nations to continue working together running a business, defence, homeland security, foreign affairs and other spheres, inch said Raj Dave, the chairman of the India-US Globe Affairs Institute.

"America's exports to India have been growing at as much as 30 per cent a year for over six many years, faster than our exports to almost any other major country on the planet, and with India's growing middle class, there are possibilities for exports for American companies from practically all commercial and services sectors, " said Vinod Jain, the president and ceo of the India-US World Affairs Institute.
