ALL OF US investment bank Goldman Sachs will commit Rs 1, 000 crore ($201. 6 million) within equity of Indian renewable energy start-up Restore Wind Power, the Indian firm stated on Monday.
ReNew Wind Power was founded about six months back by Suman T Sinha, the former chief operating officer of India's Suzlon Power, the world's fifth-largest wind turbine producer by capacity.
ReNew expects to reach capacity of just one gigawatt by 2015 and plans in order to expand its wind portfolio by 200-300 megawatts yearly, the company said in a declaration.
ReNew was advised by SaVant Advisers for that Goldman deal.
