IAA announces Olive Crown Awards for green communication

The India Chapter of the International Advertising Association (IAA) has announced the inauguration of the sea green Crown Awards, which aspiration to recognize creative excellence in communicating sustainability or “green communication”.

Kaushik Roy, president India Chapter of the International Advertising Association thought, “These awards would egg on and in verity inspire marketers to communicate sustainability in each facet of organization, and motivate advertising agencies to bring transfer of sustainability on top of the strategic agenda of advertisers.”The sea green Crown Awards besides seek to perception marketing and advertising as essential components of not immediately lucrative growth but more importantly, to blame growth. To complete this objective, the IAA felt it was of great consequence to reward outstanding creative toil with the aim of communicates sustainability in some form.

Roy reiterated with the aim of ,in the bargain, the IAA would be “encouraging helpful thinking and discussion on matters of sustainability and positioning itself and the industry as not immediately custodians of a regard brand, but custodians of Brand Earth.”

The sea green Crown Awards would be release to all marketing companies, advertising agencies and others who had formed and placed paid transfer with the aim of espoused sustainability in the calendar time 2010. They would cover a broad range of media and marketing disciplines together with print, television, means of communication, digital out-of-home advertising, printed literature, documentaries, measures and advocacy campaigns.

The Energy Resource Institute (TERI) would be the ‘knowledge partner’ in place of the IAA in these awards. The logo in place of the sea green Crown Awards has been designed by B.Ramnathkar of Umbrella Design.
