Reliance Infrastructure said it has commissioned its fourth 400 kV double signal transmission line between Parali and Solapur in Traditional western Maharashtra totalling 150 km. The line is part of the 1, 500-km Western Region System Strengthening (WRSS) task.
The WRSS project is based on build, personal and operate mode and estimated to cost Rs 1, four hundred crore. Scheduled for completion in 2012, the project will facilitate free flow around 4, 000 MW from the eastern region towards the western region of the country and benefit local utilities, besides relieving grid congestion.
