Christine Lagarde Strengthens Lead for International Monetary Fund’s (IMF) Top Job

Christine Lagarde strengthened her prime in the tribe in place of the International Monetary Fund’s top job similar to the establishment discarded the candidacy of Bank of Israel Governor Stanley Fischer and rival Agustin Carstens described his ability of winning as “slim.”

The IMF executive board thought in a statement last-minute the past in Washington with the aim of it retained Lagarde and Carstens as the candidates in place of the stake of running director, not including Fischer, who exceeds the age limit in place of the job. Earlier, Carstens had described Lagarde’s likelihood of being chosen as “quite prohibitive.”
