Yamaha Company to launch Scooters by 2012

Japanese two-wheeler company Yamaha at the moment thought it campaign to launch way in level scooters in India by 2012.

"We maintain statistics of scooters in other markets like US and Europe and at present, we are studying the Indian marketplace. We will launch way in level scooters at this point soon," Yamaha Motor India director and chief sales representative Jun Nakata thought.

Another company representative thought the launch was likely by 2012.

Yamaha India would manufacture the scooters by the side of either of its existing facilities by the side of Surajpur and Faridabad.

The company has lined up an investment of $10 million by 2012 in place of increasing its scooter scope by single million, India Yamaha first in command & MD Hiroyuki Suzuki thought.

With this, the company's two-wheeler scope is likely to contact six lakhs units apiece annum from the existing quantity of five lakhs.

He advance thought the company does not propose to collection up another plants but would increase in intensity the scope of its existing units to single million from the current scope of half-a-million.
