Pak hit by earthquake, North India feels tremors

New Delhi:  Southwest Pakistan was destroy by a powerful earthquake of 7.4 magnitude by the side of not far off from 2 am IST on Wednesday. The tremors were felt in parts of North India like Delhi, Rajasthan and Haryana, according to reports on television.

While near are rebuff reports of some wounded person in India, single person is reported to maintain died in a wall collapse in Pakistan.

Residents in several areas of the Delhi rushed outside their homes as soon as the tremors were felt.

The effect was besides felt in Jaipur, Barmer, Ganganagar and Jaiselmer in Rajasthan, and in Dubai as well.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) thought the epicentre of the earthquake was located in southwestern Pakistan in the desert area nearby Iran and Afghanistan. But not much is being reported from near as it is a remote area. Reports from confined news agencies say near has been rebuff extensive injury in nearby towns.

"The earthquake struck by the side of a depth of 7.4 km," an IMD representative thought. The epicentre was located by the side of 28.9 degrees north on the latitude and 64 degrees east on the longitude.

A US Geological Service tell thought the epicentre of the earthquake was located 45 km from Dalbandin in southwest Pakistan. It thought the main depth of the earthquake was 84 km.
