Online job portal Monster.Com's employment manifestation rose to 112 in December 2010 from 109 seen in prior month. Online recruitment situate Naukri.Com's job manifestation too climbed to 928 in December as compared to 922 in November 2010.
Both indices reproduce the overall recruitment activities each month.
"Opportunities in the IT sector were up by 8 apiece cent (in December 2010) beyond the November levels... Online opportunities in BPO/ITES sector extended 5 apiece cent.
Online hiring in the Retail sector continued to trend upward in place of the fourth month, accumulation 10 points in December," Monster.Com thought in a statement.
Monster.Com's Managing Director (India, Middle East, South East Asia) Sanjay Modi thought online recruitment, especially sectors like IT and BPO/ITES, ended the time on a prohibitive observe.
