'CAG can audit 3G auction, but not needed yet'

Comptroller and Auditor General of India Vinod Rai at the moment thought with the aim of though government has not sought study of the 3G mart, CAG can resolve it on its own.

Talking to reporters at this point, Rai thought, "There is rebuff application from the government on 3G audit. We can resolve it on our own. Let me find out. When we devise our audit diagram which will approach in 2011 lots of factors will function into it."

Regarding the another CAG amount, Rai thought the it will give power to the audit watchdog to examine Public-Private-Participation projects besides.

"We are going away to take up audits of PPP projects. We maintain taken up selected of the projects already. But it is not mandated. The government is going away to Parliament in place of the abolish of the existing Act to cover the PPP projects besides. Hopefully in the plan session the bill may well pass," Rai thought.
