The partnership with Taj includes renewal of the senior partnership with the Cornell Centre for Hospitality Research (CHR), sponsorship from the Cornell Icon and Innovator Awards Dinner and collaboration on a new worldwide hospitality summit in India, Cornell said in a statement.
"This partnership strengthens the present relationship between Taj and CHR and will create new opportunities for Taj to collaborate using the school more effectively, " said Raymond Bickson, Managing Director and Chief Professional Officer at Taj.
"This collaboration represents an important strategic alliance for each organisations, " said Jon Denison, associate dean for external affairs at Cornell College.
The Cornell International Hospitality Summit India is scheduled to be held within Mumbai in January, 2012.
